Jef's projects include the original score for Arabian Nights by Roger Bennington (Tooth and Nail Theater/Rose Wagner Center), percussion for The Hamantashen Monologues, Rain Dance and Ishtar Unmasked all by Amichai Lau-Lavie (Storahtelling/The New Schul), and drummer for the band Action Daddy (2003 to 2004). There were more bands going as far back as 1991, but the names and experiences are too embarrassing to mention. Along with traditional/modern/alternative rock and jazz, he has studied the drumming styles of Middle Eastern, African and Indian Raga percussion. Jef also designs and creates some of his own instruments. He is a founding member of Theater Mitu.
