JUSTIN NESTOR

Associate Artist

Justin is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of The Arts where his four years of training were spent at Playwrights Horizons Theater School, Stonestreet Film and Television Studios, and living abroad in India. Since moving to New York City some of his theater credits include: NYU - The York Pageant Cycle: Three Mystery Plays(God), In The Blood (Doctor/Trouble), Mr. Bundy (Mr. Bundy), Seneca's Oedipus(Oedipus), Fair Fight (Neil), and There Was and There Wasn't (Hassam), Last Days in Vegas (The Peace-Keeper). Off-Off Broadway - The Wild Party (Burrs), Wounds To The Face (Man), We Are Destroyed (Snyder/Willie). Justin has also appeared in various readings and workshops around New York City including Peter Brook's most recent workshop of Tierno Bokar at NYTW. Justin also heads Theater Mitu's International education and training initiatives, recently spearheading the creation and development of a program in South India. His current research has lead him to the Middle East where he is investigating performance traditions in/around the Arab Gulf. This spring, along with acting in Theater Mitu's upcoming production of Chaos in Abu Dhabi, Justin will be taking the first steps into creating, for the company, a training intensive in Nepal.
